A FAIRY TALE…!

A FAIRY TALE…!

A fairy tale is no only a remarkable story about supernatural beings or magical events, but also, is a kind of folktale or fable. However keep in mind that folk tales are not necessarily fairy tales. The simplest way to explain this is to think of fairy tales as a subgenre of folklore along with myths and legends. A good point for taking into account is they were told and retold for generations before they were written down. I am deeply sure everyone in the world has grown up, reading, listening to, or watching fairy tales as a child. Aren’t you?

  3. VIOLENCE MADE PART OF HUMAN GENETICS?

Some theories agree in saying that aggression is part of human instinct and that what really should matter is how to control it. Probably as humans pretend to get the power doesn´t matter the cost, always think in our benefit, and use differente strategies in order to being powerful.

In the other hand I think, that violence is the result of the inconsistency caused by the leaders of every culture, its mismanagement and benefit few. Inequality and abuse of power have caused many unnecessary wars.
Violence is part of our society for various reasons, the bad point is that children are the ones who directly suffer this evil, until they are adults and have to bear these bitter memories that have lived nd end up worse repeating those kind of bad behaviours.

The autor mentions some causes and reasons that apply this situation Also Techology has been a referent point. It has caused some negative effects specially in children but also, It has encouraged creativity and has been part of major advances that have benefited mankind.

  5. Ok, we know that violence is something that has plagued the world for many decades, in fact even in the beginning of the world. However, over the years of violence and wars in the world increased and resulted in any space, even in our own homes. This is why humanity has always lived in conflict and violence and it is utopian to dream of world peace, but I think it starts from our homes and if we live in peace and healthy coexistence with our loved ones, this will be a string that can break the paradigms and violence actually accent to exist. ;)

  6. A fairy tale.....
For as long as people have recorded their history, they have told stories. In the days when people did not know nearly as much about the world as they do now, they made up myths or legends to explain events. The fairy tale was born from those stories.

Children and adults alike love a good fairy tale. In the archetypal fairy tale, good wins over evil, the bad are punished, the good prosper. The hero and heroine must go through trials to prevail, and magic and magical creatures usually appear, but in the end, the protagonist is victorious.

The use of fear and violence in folk and fairy tales is a contentious issue which illuminates disparities of societal difference between those firmly entrenched in beliefs of righteousness and others who believe no harm is done by frightening children with folklore. Some people believe that children need to be shielded from all displays of violence, especially violence found in video games, television, and folk tales, because children might emulate it and bring harm to themselves or others. Studies trying to prove that displays of violence in print and visual culture lead to fear and violence in our youth are frequently inconclusive at best, and these studies are often funded by those whose ideologies detest any mention of potentially sinful activities. Conversely, there is some supportive evidence from educators and sociologists which show fear and violence in folk tales contributing to a safer and more educated society.

  7. This video is about the violence, I know is a video that could create a little awareness to person who wants change the world and give a possible solution about to the violence that crosses the world, I think that have a best world should start from ourselves because if each person think about the evil that could result in all bad deed that have sometimes, might begin to better their ways in the society. Also I think if people who are in politics not steal and will give to people that they correspond no one would have less need.

  9. The violence has been an act which has lived for a long time into the world. As Steven say in the video, the peace begins with ourself, with our actions and with the way as we relate with the other people. Find a solution for the violence uin the worlas, i consider that it is so difficult, because if we calm the violence in one place in other place could began again.
If we want to know a real peace we need a real compromise, we need to work together in the way of the peace, and we must be so conscious about our worls and the life that we want to our future generations.

  10. Since the beginning of our history, the violence has been the protagonist as a defense mode and superviencia in the world. Moreover, violence has been seen as a way to express our disagreements and differences. Due to this, children are present in acts of violence when their parents scold them for different reasons and also are witness of this in television, school, books and stories made for children. This can be good and bad. On the one hand is good because children can take the message of the story to not make the same mistakes and learn from them, and on the other side is bad because children can imitate and do the same violence imagining they are the protagonists of the story.

For this reason, the family must show an example of peace and harmony in their home so that children grow up with the idea of build a world without violence.

  12. Violence is the negative result of competitions. In every society people want to be the best; nobody wants to be the last one. I am not justifying violence but if we learned and understand that our difficulties are opportunities to be better, our society's imaginary and the world would change.

  14. According with different violence theories, species and human beings since prehistoric ages have acted in a wrong way just for surviving in a habitat or for being the most important in a group or community.
The human being mind has built and created different invents for continue surviving and conquering more things that have. For example the atomic bomb that was used during world wide II, its the pefect exmaple in which United States showed the powerty around the world using those kind of weapons.
Even if we look back the different Chinese invents (fireworks)the principal objective was keep the country in constant conflicts with surrounded countries.
All wars we saw and felt has been just for feeling the powerty and the respect this country demands at the rest of countries.
Sigmund Freud argued human beings has two instints: sexual and killing and destruction. for that reson, violence and conflict could be analize in different circumstances, spaces, cultures and thinkings and never wiil stop this common habit.

  15. is true violence has lived in the world for thousands of decades ago, we do think now: yes we live in a more peaceful times, has never really been peace and there will certainly never in its entirety. first thing is to create peace, we must be at peace with ourselves and some do not reach inner peace will not be able to put his contribution to world peace. we must also make a commitment to others and the world, an issue that is very difficult to achieve because we can not all agree all the time with others.
ultimately peace is something that will take many more years to build, but we must make peace with us so to be at peace with others.

  17. Violence is the result of leaders who lead the world. Even education and the church have paid to be accomplices of the speeches of a few who profit from war by economic means. Colombia has more than 60 years at war and it all started because a few did not want a change of mentality that encouraged democratic Jorge Eliecer Gaitan, it was a country that has been at war since simplemnte right because of a few day to day will benefit from the deaths of others.
