Analysis of multicultural elements in a children’s story…
“Multicultural children’s literature is
about the sociocultural experiences of previously underrepresented groups. It
validates these groups’ experiences, including those occurring because of
differences in language, race, gender, class, ethnicity, identity, and sexual
orientation.”
The 18th and 19th centuries saw travel and
adventure stories as people began to discover new lands, foray into new fields,
and communicate with new cultures and peoples. Hence this era saw books for
children such as Gulliver’s Travels and the Grimms’ Fairy Tales, collected and
written by the brothers Grimm, two German brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm,
whose collection is largely about central Europe and life during that time.
The idea of teaching children
literature, however, advocates for an
approach that integrates multicultural children’s literature throughout the
day, throughout your degree, the school
year, and at all times, for all types of lessons.

ResponderEliminarThese videos are very interesting, because they helps you to motivate as a teacher for children. Multiculturalism is really important beacause you must take into account the differences between all the students. The most importants words and phrases for me were "diversity" and "To avoid stereotypes of a group". It is a challenge to be a good teacher.

Hence as a great teacher you need to be better to change their learning and they get a better style life

ResponderEliminarWe are in a huge and interesting world. Maybe everyone would like have the opportunity to know many things about it, but that is a hard work. The literature is an excellent way to learn about our world and to teach the others to enjoy the life. The words are powerful and is our decision to do it or continue in the same place.

The English learning is a great experience for teachers, nowdays we have many possibilities to teach a second language , the literature is a usefull tool for us and we can teach and learn trought the literature but we can't learn nothing if we dont fell each word into the language, for this reason the multiculturalism is so important, like teachers we have to know differences between cultures and countries.
